The Eastlake Table

Made for a client  in Charleston, SC.

Crafted from solid Pennsylvania walnut and satinwood. 

It measures 6 feet in diameter featuring a satinwood inlaid banding and reeded edge along its perimeter.

Birdcage details include inspiration on the knee carvings from the feather bed at the Heyward-Washington House. Spiral carvings on the spindles inspired from several period tables in Wallace Nutting’s Furniture Treasury.
