The Camak Furniture Suite
This a very special furniture collection that I crafted for a wonderful couple in Tennessee. It includes two Thomas Elfe reproduction chest on chests, a Sheraton serpentine table and mirror to match.
The chests were crafted using one piece solid Peruvian mahogany for the primary wood and tulipwood for the secondary wood. Complete with Elfe’s signature fretwork, fluted and reeded corner pilasters, and ornamental dental moulding.
Nearly 600 hand cut dovetails throughout the suite. The serpentine Sheraton table is complete with reeded legs, water flower carvings on the upper legs, and inlaid mahogany panels using a delicate line of satin wood and ebony. All pieces were finished using hand brushed shellac and wax. Then buffed to the desired sheen. This is a timeless collection and true heirloom for future generations.
